Quicker Searches for Health Insurance Payor Information
The Office of Managed Care (OMC) maintains a website detailing insurance plan coverage at Johns Hopkins Medicine and affiliates. The site allows staff to quickly determine what is covered by 49 different insurance providers so patients and providers can make informed decisions.
Before this website was developed, the vendor-supplied Site Executive content management system required complicated workflows and in-depth training for OMC staff. The TAG development team rewrote the site in anticipation of the sunset of the Site Executive content management system.
