Planning for Strategic Goals
The Entity Objectives are entity-specific initiatives and measures that are created based on the Johns Hopkins Medicine Strategic Plan and used to assess progress within each entity. The TAG team created a web application using the team’s latest tech stack to electronically track and score the Goals and Metrics of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Strategic Objectives.
Tracking goals and objectives was previously a manual process that was inconsistent across different Johns Hopkins Medicine entities. The Strategic Planning department needed a centralized system to track and assess progress.
Each entity under the Johns Hopkins Medicine enterprise will have a point person to submit their scoring for each goal and metric created within the six Strategic Objectives. The submitted scores for each goal will be averaged and represent each objective in a score card that is viewable at anytime via the web application and may also be printed in PDF format for distribution.
